Pick your perfect cycling route

Long-distance
“Visingsö Runt” is a 25-kilometre cycling route that takes you around the entire island. The ride takes about 3–4 hours and follows a low-traffic country road, mostly paved with some gravel sections.

Kumlaby
If you're looking for a shorter ride, Kumlaby is a great option – just 3.5 km from the harbour. Here you’ll find the well-known church with its iconic tower offering stunning views, as well as Kumlabybadet, the island’s own outdoor swimming pool.

South
For a medium-distance ride, head south from the harbour. You’ll pass through Sweden’s straightest oak forest on your way to the ruins of Visingsö Castle in Näs. Along the way, you’ll find cosy cafés and farm shops like Persgården and Bengtsgården.

North
Prefer heading north? Cycle all the way to Sandudden at the northern tip of the island. This route takes you past Kumlaby, Tempelgården, Gladhytt Alpacas and several other delightful stops worth exploring
