In the middle of Visingsö, you’ll find a family-friendly public outdoor pool with two heated pools. Kumlabybadet is a perfect summer getaway for families and is open during the summer season.

Not far from Kumlabyskolan and Braheskolan, this small yet charming outdoor swimming facility maintains a steady temperature of 27°C throughout the season.

Though Visingsö offers several natural swimming spots in lake Vättern, the warm and inviting pools at Kumlabybadet provide a a warmer alternative when the lake’s water remains chilly.

Pools for big and small swimmers

Kumlabybadet features two pools:

  • a 15x2.5 meter pool suitable for swimming and play which gets deeper the further out you get.
  • a smaller paddling pool designed for young children.

Floatation toys are also available for guests to borrow.

Enjoy a summer picnic or snack at the pool

Between swims, guests can relax, play, and enjoy a picnic on the grassy areas surrounding the pools. Bring your own snacks or grab a refreshing drink, ice cream, chips, or candy from Kumlabybadet’s on-site kiosk.

  • Accessibility: Easy access to the facility. However, only ladders are available for entering and exiting the larger pool.
  • Parking: Parking available directly outside the facility.
