Grenna Bluegrass Academy is a three-day workshop led by brilliant musicians specializing in bluegrass. Each instrument has its own workshop, where participants can develop their rhythm and solo-playing skills. The workshops also include ensemble sessions, where participants learn the dynamics and subtleties of bluegrass under the guidance of professional musicians.
This year's workshops are led by Missy Raines & Allegheny, consisting of Tristan Scroggins (mandolin), Ben Garnet (guitar), Eli Gilbert (banjo), Ellie Hakanson (fiddle), and Missy Raines (bass). Missy has won the IBMA Best Bass Player of the Year award 10(!) times. All of them are experienced instructors and amazing musicians. The workshops are not aimed at complete beginners; participants should have been playing their instruments for at least a couple of years. Registration via homepage or Tickster
