Popular café with something for everyone

Stuk aims to give its diners an experience where taste, smell, music and atmosphere are given equal importance. Here, the vibe is at least as lovely as all the tasty treats that are available to order. At Stuk, you can find both buns or pastries and more substantial meal options, and everything is carefully selected to do good for both your body and for the planet.

Stuk is located in central Jönköping and you will find everything here you could want for an enjoyable experience; artisan pizzas with distinct, innovative flavour combinations, fresh, hearty salads and sandwiches, and several breakfast options as well. They also serve buns, pastries and quality coffee. The coffee comes from a small producer in Helsingborg, all the coffee beans are hand-picked and all steps in the supply chain take into consideration both social and global responsibility.

On the menu there are also finger-food dishes and snacks, and the drinks menu consists of several good non-alcoholic options but also beer, bubbly and natural wine. The wine is purchased from Rosforth & Rosforth in Copenhagen and Fruktstereo in Malmö.

Sustainability in focus

At Stuk, the focus is on ingredients that are good for both the body and the planet. They work daily to find ways of recycling raw materials that usually go to waste, including for example using the frothed milk from cappuccinos to bake buns or baking crispbread from leftover coffee grounds.

The flour they use comes from father and son Bengt and Andreas from Limabacka mill just outside Gothenburg. This is an old stone mill where natural bacteria are preserved in the flour, which is good for both one’s health, and for nature. It’s also perfect for baking with sourdough, and there is plenty of sourdough bread at Stuk.

Benjamin's favourite buns

In 2023, the Swedish pop artist Benjamin Ingrosso's summer tour took him to Folkets Park in Huskvarna. On stage, Benjamin had some cinnamon buns which he ate and also handed out. These were not just any buns though, these were cinnamon buns from Stuk. Live on stage, he told the audience that they were the best cinnamon buns he had ever eaten. “You should be proud of that,” he told the people of Jönköping, and indeed we are!

Two-legged and four-legged friends welcome

Everyone is welcome at Stuk, both children and pet dogs. The atmosphere at Stuk is lovely, but the noise volume can be quite loud. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze for a pram or similar inside, but all year round there is an outdoor terrace with plenty of space.

If you would rather take your coffee or food to go, then that of course works fine too. There are several good picnic spots nearby, such as the decked jetty overlooking Munksjön, Rådhusparken or the beach at Vätterstranden.
