The city by lake Vättern

In 2017, Jönköping Municipality was named the year's community sports municipality, by Tidningen sport och affärer 2017, where SVT Sport gave us the title of Sweden's best sports city 2017.

Rosenlunds manor and rosarium is beautifully situated in the eastern parts of Jönköping in an old cultural environment with 550 different varieties of roses and walking distance to Lake Vätterstranden. There are also exotic trees and beautiful plantings with perennials.
Rosenlunds Rosarium is one of the world's most visited rosaries, as was established when the park, as the first Swedish rosarium, won the "Award of Garden Excellence" in 2022.
There are only three match museums in the world, and one of them is the Match Museum in central Jönköping. It is located on the southern shore of Lake Vättern in a beautiful wooden building from 1848, classified as a listed building.
