Ski slope

Järabacken ski slope is located right next to the Ekhagen residential area in Jönköping, offering a fantastic view over the city. Here you can enjoy downhill skiing or snowboarding.

At Järabacken, you can engage in downhill skiing or snowboarding. There are two slopes and a T-bar lift. Jumps and rails are available on the slopes.

The resort is operated by Jönköping Slalom Club and Friluftsfrämjandet.

During the season, you can rent ski equipment.

Cafeteria

If you need a break from skiing, Järabacken's warming hut offers refreshments such as snacks, hot dogs, soft drinks, coffee/tea, and more. The cafeteria is open during the same hours as Järabacken. If you prefer to bring your own food, there are two barbecue areas near the slope.

How to get here

If you are coming via the E4, take the exit at Ekhagsrondellen and drive towards Nässjö for about 1 km, then follow the signs for the ski slope. The road up to the slope does not have a name, but the connecting road is called Järavägen.

To get to Järabacken by local bus, take line 130 (Tenhult bus) or bus 2 or 11 to Ekhagen.
