At Vallgatan 3, you will find one of Jönköping's largest and most visited lunch restaurants.

Guvernören is a large restaurant with many seats. Every day, four different dishes are served, something for all stomachs and taste buds.

Guvernören's special, Schnitzel from Småland farms with homemade bearnaise sauce and lemon, as well as potatoes from Axelssons in Aby, is always available.

The restaurant has a widely known salad bar filled with vegetables, salads, freshly baked bread from their own bakery, and other goodies. Every Friday, homemade dessert is served with coffee.

Food made completely from scratch

As part of the FC Gruppen family, Restaurant Guvernören follows the company's high sustainability standards. They are dedicated to contributing to a sustainable future, therefore all their meals are freshly made from scratch with local ingredients. Restaurant Guvernören produces its electricity with solar panels.

How to get here

From the E4, exit towards the city centre. Follow the signs for the city centre and then for City Centre East (Centrum Ö). Turn left after the Rådhusparken bus stop. Park at Per Brahegymnasiets parking – the Governor is located on the left.

Most buses stop at Rådhusparken, which is the nearest bus stop.
