Vattenledningsparken is located next to a high-level water reservoir that was once used to pressurize Jönköping’s water supply. The climbing crag is just a short walk below the park itself. This centrally located climbing spot in Jönköping allows you to get started quickly.
The climbing crag in Vattenledningsparken is small, approximately 8 meters high, and faces east, getting sunlight in the morning, which helps it dry relatively quickly.
The climbing routes range from grades five to six, with six sport climbing routes and one trad route. The area below the crag consists of uneven ground with bushes and vegetation.
Near the crag, you’ll also find two bouldering blocks. Some areas may be mossy, so bringing a brush is recommended.
For information about the climbing routes, visit 27 Crags External link, opens in new window.
There are no facilities directly at the crag, but in the park, you'll find benches, a barbecue area, and toilets. The park also offers a great view of Jönköping and is worth visiting for its historic water reservoir.
