Café in a rural setting
Save
Located just outside Tenhult in Rommelsjö, this cozy café greets visitors with a vintage-style counter filled with delicious goodies.
Housed in an old mission house, Rommelsjö Café is decorated with antique-style furniture that perfectly complements the building’s historic charm. The menu includes classic baked goods such as biskvier, mazarins, and Swiss rolls, as well as shrimp sandwiches and salads.
The café features comfortable, vintage-style seating indoors. If you prefer the fresh air, you can enjoy your fika in the inviting garden area.
Gazing out over Lake Vättern, the giant Vist stands tall in Huskvarna. Here, striking contrasts meet — between stunning natural surroundings and the historic Husqvarna Factory, established in 1689 to produce weapons for the Swedish military. At the Husqvarna Museum, you can explore everything from sewing machines and motorcycles to modern-day chainsaws and lawnmowers. Nearby, Smedbyn offers a charming mix of history, art galleries, and craft studios. Since 1925, Huskvarna Folkets Park has been a beloved venue for music, theatre, festivals, and fairs.
By car
