Walk with a swim

Experience the small community of Örserum outside Gränna on foot. Here you can walk the 3.8-kilometer loop. You walk on gravel roads, in the forest, and along the water. During the walk, there are QR codes where you can learn more about the place and the buildings.

It is possible to shorten or extend the loop if you wish. If you want to extend your walk, you can follow Holavedsleden either to Gränna or to Tranås.

Relaxation and swimming

In the small community of Örserum, which is about 10 minutes by car from Gränna, there are two hotels where you can stay and eat. Both Smålandsgården and Örserumsbrunn are beautifully located by lake Ören with swimming areas on their properties.

Nearby, there is a municipal swimming area with a barbecue area, playground, and outdoor gym. At the swimming area, there is also a football field, tennis court, and a kiosk that is open in good weather.

If you pass the swimming area and continue a bit on the loop, you will reach a point where there is also a barbecue area, a bit more secluded than the one at the swimming area.

How to get here

If you come here by car, you can either park at Grännaberget.

Directions to the parking lot at Grännaberget: Drive from Gränna towards Tranås, road 133. After the ramp to the E4 towards Stockholm, turn left onto Norra Boarpsvägen. Continue on the road for just under 1 km and then turn left into a tunnel under the E4 according to the signs for Grännaberget. At the end of the road you will find the parking lot.
