Norrahammars sport center

Discover Norrahammar Sport Center with a gym, tennis and padel courts, a relaxation area, and swimming pools for leisure swimming, lap swimming, swimming lessons, water aerobics, and pool parties.

Norrahammar Sport Center is located in the Flahult area, about 10 km southwest of central Jönköping. There is something for everyone here, whether you want to stay active or simply relax.

Swimming pool for leisure and exercise

In the swimming hall, you can enjoy a swim, do laps, join a water aerobics class, host a pool party for a birthday, or simply unwind. The facility features two indoor pools:

  • A 28°C, 25 x 8.5-metre pool with a depth of 0.9–1.3 metres.
  • A 32°C smaller pool, ideal for young children.

On early Friday mornings, morning swimming sessions take place, allowing you to swim in a peaceful atmosphere with calming music. Water aerobics is included in the admission fee.

To swim alone in the pool, you must be 12 years old and able to swim. Those who are not proficient swimmers, as well as children under 12, must be accompanied by a swimming adult (at least 18 years old).

Relaxation area with family relaxation

If you seek relaxation, the relaxation area is the place to be. Here, you can unwind in a 32°C hot tub. If you are 16 years or older, you can also enjoy the steam sauna.

On Saturdays, during family relaxation hours, children and teenagers under 16 are welcome to use the steam sauna if accompanied by an adult. Additionally, both changing rooms have dry saunas for those who prefer that option.

Sports hall and tennis hall

The sports hall features a 42 x 20-metre playing area and a spectator stand with 300 seats.

Tabergsdalens Tennis Club operates the tennis hall, which includes indoor and outdoor courts for both tennis and padel.

Gym and strength training

The gym is equipped with:

  • Strength training machines
  • Free weights
  • Exercise bikes
  • Rowing machines
  • Ski erg
  • Treadmills
  • Cross-trainers

To use the gym, you must be at least 15 years old. You can also book an introduction session to learn how the machines work.

Your gym visit also includes access to the swimming pool during its regular opening hours.

Tabergsådalen

Månsarp, Taberg, Norrahammar, and Hovslätt together form the Tabergsådalen, the valley through which the Taberg River flows. Here, you'll breathe in Swedish industrial history and encounter breathtaking nature, entrepreneurship, and creativity. At the top of Taberg, 343 meters above sea level, you can enjoy an incredible view while savouring the famous shrimp sandwich.
