Save
Mjölkafållan is a family-friendly park in Huskvarna, perhaps best known for its book staircase and stunning cherry blossom trees that bathe the entire park in pink during springtime. The park also boasts a colourful and creative playground inviting play, creativity, reading, and relaxation.
At Mjölkafållans lekpark, you'll find a large climbing structure with slides and swings for children of all ages. The playground also features a small library where visitors can enjoy a good book during their visit, as well as several relaxing chairs perfect for a quiet reading session. The staircase connecting the playground to the rest of Mjölkafållan is painted with book titles by local authors, making the entire park a celebration of creativity and a love for reading.
Below the playground lies the rest of Mjölkafållan Park, home to beautiful flower beds and several walking paths. At the heart of the park is a large fountain, beautifully illuminated in the evenings. There's also a stage that encourages impromptu performances by both children and adults.
Gazing out over Lake Vättern, the giant Vist stands tall in Huskvarna. Here, striking contrasts meet — between stunning natural surroundings and the historic Husqvarna Factory, established in 1689 to produce weapons for the Swedish military. At the Husqvarna Museum, you can explore everything from sewing machines and motorcycles to modern-day chainsaws and lawnmowers. Nearby, Smedbyn offers a charming mix of history, art galleries, and craft studios. Since 1925, Huskvarna Folkets Park has been a beloved venue for music, theatre, festivals, and fairs.
