Kafé Stadsparken in Huskvarna is an urban nature gem just a ten-minute walk from Esplanaden in Huskvarna. Here you will find a classic selection of snacks and light meals for both adults and children.
The charming Stadsparksstugan in Huskvarna, built in 1914 and located in Stadsparken at the foot of Huskvarnabergen, reopened for café operations in the summer of 2023.
The café was previously a popular meeting place, operating from 1920 to 1955. The café is situated just above Huskvarna city park, a park established in 1912 after Huskvarna received its city rights the previous year. The park is part of Östra Vätterbranterna, and the Stadsparksstugan, completed in 1914, is the park's enchanting focal point.
The café offers a well-sorted selection of both food and snacks. They have several hot dishes on the menu where classic home cooking meets modern ingredients. Many of their dishes are vegetarian as well as vegan.
They also offer various types of sandwiches, pancakes, and every weekend they set up a waffle buffet.
Their snack selection is a delicious mix of classics such as Budapest cake and marzipan cake, along with more modern pastries like date balls and cheesecake. Dogs are welcome in the café and are offered a special menu.
At Café Stadsparken in Huskvarna, several calendar holidays are celebrated, such as Father's Day, All Saints' Day, and May Day, as well as unofficial holidays like "Hiking Day" and "Cheesecake Day." You can see the current calendar on their website. External link, opens in new window.
Kafé Stadsparken is only a short walk from Esplanaden in Huskvarna and is close to several of Huskvarna's attractions and destinations.
Huskvarna city park, where the café is located, offers a nature-inspired playground and several scenic walking trails. The park is situated below Huskvarnaberget, which offers hiking, views, and, thanks to IKHP's sports facility, also illuminated trails, pump tracks, and cycling paths.
Gazing out over Lake Vättern, the giant Vist stands tall in Huskvarna. Here, striking contrasts meet — between stunning natural surroundings and the historic Husqvarna Factory, established in 1689 to produce weapons for the Swedish military. At the Husqvarna Museum, you can explore everything from sewing machines and motorcycles to modern-day chainsaws and lawnmowers. Nearby, Smedbyn offers a charming mix of history, art galleries, and craft studios. Since 1925, Huskvarna Folkets Park has been a beloved venue for music, theatre, festivals, and fairs.
