HV71's women and men play their matches at Husqvarna Garden in Rosenlund, Jönköping, where there is room for 6,800 spectators. Experience the excitement when HV71 plays against Sweden's best teams and players.
HV71 was formed by a merger between Husqvarna IF's hockey section and Vätterstads IF on May 24, 1971. HV71 is Jönköping's largest hockey club with its approximately 7,600 members and about 500 active youth players in the association.
The men's team has won the Swedish Championship gold five times and has played a total of 30 seasons in Sweden's highest league, SHL. In 2017, they won the coveted Le Mat Trophy and were crowned Swedish champions for the 2016/2017 season. The men's team lost their place in the SHL and played the 2021/2022 season in the Allsvenskan.
However, their time in the Allsvenskan was short-lived, and since the 2022/2023 season, the men's team has been playing in the SHL again.
The women's team has its roots in Jönköpings Queens, which was formed in 2002 but transitioned to HV71's organization in 2008 and became HV71 Women. Today, they play their home matches at Prolympiahallen, which is adjacent to Husqvarna Garden.
HV71 Women play in the highest series for women, SDHL, and were series winners in the 2019/2020 season.
You can buy tickets to HV71's matches via HV71's website or over the counter at Stora Coop Asecs and City Gross.
