Hunnerydsbadet is located by Lake Landsjön in Kaxholmen. It’s an outdoor swimming area with spacious lawns and a playground for children. If you want to play beach volleyball or football, there’s space for that too.

Barbecue area and ice cream kiosk

There’s a nice barbecue area in a small grove, slightly secluded from the rest of the swimming area. Across the road from the beach is the café and shop Grafitgrå, and during the summer they open their ice cream kiosk for those craving a treat.

There’s a large grassy area for play, a small playground, and newly renovated changing rooms. In the water, there’s a jetty and an accessibility ramp. An outdoor gym is also located next to the swimming area.

Äppledalen

North of Huskvarna, you’ll find Småland’s very own Tuscany – Äppledalen, the Apple Valley. Here, over 100,000 apple trees grow at Rudenstams and Vistakulle Fruit Orchards. This idyllic getaway is part of the East Vätterbranterna Biosphere Reserve and offers breathtaking views over Lake Landsjön and Lake Vättern, scenic orchards, nature reserves, local leather craftsmanship, interior design shops, charming countryside cafés, and farm stores. It’s the perfect complement to the buzz of the city.
