Vineyard in the heart of Äppledalen
Save
In the middle of Äppledalen, you'll find this vineyard. The grapevines are neatly lined up on the slope down to the attached greenhouse, where wine tastings are held.
In 2015, Pelle Tengblad started thinking about a vineyard in what is known as Äppledalen. The conditions for growing grapevines here are excellent. It began with a few Solaris vines, and today the vineyard has grown to 4,000 vines.
Here, you and your group can come for a wine tasting with snacks. Private group bookings are welcome. On Wednesdays, the vineyard is open to the public, and you can come by for a tasting and enjoy a meal in the greenhouse.
Gisebo Wine also offers accommodation. Imagine staying right in the middle of a small vineyard – you can do just that here. There are six double rooms located at the foot of Romaberget.
In Äppledalen, you’ll find several farm shops, cafés, and swimming spots. It’s a perfect place to spend a whole day and relax. Take a bike ride around Lake Landsjön, stop for a swim, or simply enjoy the nature.
North of Huskvarna, you’ll find Småland’s very own Tuscany – Äppledalen, the Apple Valley. Here, over 100,000 apple trees grow at Rudenstams and Vistakulle Fruit Orchards. This idyllic getaway is part of the East Vätterbranterna Biosphere Reserve and offers breathtaking views over Lake Landsjön and Lake Vättern, scenic orchards, nature reserves, local leather craftsmanship, interior design shops, charming countryside cafés, and farm stores. It’s the perfect complement to the buzz of the city.
Gisebo vin is part of Food Around Gränna, an initiative created by local producers and entrepreneurs who want to support a vibrant countryside and locally produced ingredients. The shops, farm cafés, and restaurants are open year-round and are happy to show you how they make their delicacies.
During the Ascension Day weekend each year, all businesses invite you to the food tour, where the participants have the same opening hours and offer tastings and fun activities for both young and old. See all the participants who are part of Mat runt Gränna
