Farm shop with vegetables, honey and meat
Save
Visit Fagerhults Farm and step straight into a rural idyll. Here you can buy freshly harvested vegetables, honey from the farm’s own beehives and pre-order pork boxes from their Linderöd pigs. The farm shop is a charmingly renovated forest cabin, filled with locally produced ingredients and small-scale products.
The farm is a perfect example of small-scale, sustainable farming. The hens are free to roam and scratch, the pigs turn and fertilise the soil, and the bees pollinate the crops. Together, they create the best possible conditions for vegetables and produce of the highest quality and genuine flavour.
Range and services
In the small farm shop, located in a renovated old forest hut, you’ll find seasonal vegetables, honey from the farm’s beehives, and pork boxes from the Linderöd pigs (pre-order required). You can also buy beeswax wraps, baskets, soaps from Övergården and delicacies from Byarums Skafferi.
For those who want to shop regularly, Fagerhults gård offers a vegetable subscription, giving you fresh, local vegetables every week during the season. Their produce is also sold via ”Rekoringen” in Jönköping/Huskvarna and Vaggeryd.
Gigeryds Farm Shop is a self-service shop open around the clock during the season. You will find it in the farm’s cold room – just follow the signs after parking your car. Here you can shop at your own pace, all year round, while enjoying a true countryside experience.
In addition to the farm activities, Fagerhults gård also offers lectures and courses, including:
These sessions are aimed at both individuals and groups, perfect if you want to learn more about small-scale farming and self-sufficiency.
