Campsite by lake Axamo's beach
Save
Just 15 minutes by car from Jönköping city centre, you will find Axamo Camping, a scenic and family-friendly campsite by lake Axamo, featuring a child-friendly beach with a sandy shore.
Axamo Camping has spaces for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. For motorhomes, there are 50 pitches with electricity and 20 pitches without electricity. Camping guests have access to a service building with a fully equipped kitchen, changing room, showers, and laundry facilities.
The campsite is located near a wooded area where there is an outdoor gym and marked trails for running and walking. There is also an exercise track with a triathlon course marked with buoys in the water and designated cycling and running paths.
The campsite is adjacent to Axamobadet, a child-friendly beach offering fine water, shallow shores, and large grassy areas for sunbathing and playing. Since the lake is relatively small, it usually reaches swimming-friendly temperatures early in the summer. Next to the beach, there are facilities such as showers, a sauna, and a kiosk.
At the beach, there are also mini-golf, a kiosk, a sauna, and showers. On the grassy area by the beach, there is a playground with a slide and swings, as well as a grassy area with football goals.
If you are looking for an adventure beyond the ordinary, you can book a visit to Högt & Lågt Jönköping, a climbing and adventure park located next to the beach. Here, there are numerous adventure courses with challenges at all levels for both young and old.
At Axamo Camping, you will never be bored, whether you want to relax or be active.
