Meet the opera enthusiast Ebba

Ebba Nilsson is probably Jönköping's, if not Sweden's most loyal opera fan. During the last decade, she has been a frequent visitor to Jönköping Theatre's opera performances, and in 2020 she discovered a digital goldmine of live-streamed opera.

  • Now I have seen a total of more than 400 performances online, of 105 operas, one a day I try to catch up with, says Ebba.
