The Bauer Triathlon is a medium distance over 1900 m swimming, 90 km cycling and 21 km running. It starts from the community Bunn about 30 km northeast of Jönköping. Swimming takes place in Lake Bunn, cycling on winding country roads and running along the lake. At Bauergården Gästgiveri & Konferens you live comfortably right next to the transition area where food service, showers and after race are also easily accessible.
Bauer triathlon was founded on 14 May 2020 and was held on 5 July as a replay race for the canceled Ironman 70.3 Jönköping. 50 triathletes were on the starting line this rainy morning but the joy of competing again, albeit in a small format, was great. The success was a fact and the praise for the competition was many, so now we want to give more people the chance to experience the magic around Bunn. The Bauer Triathlon 2021 expands the places and will have 200 starting places at the same time as the competition wants to protect the family feeling that was created in 2020
