Strandterrassen has been a family-run business since 1973 and is now managed by sisters Ann and Caroline.

The café and lunch restaurant offer a wide variety of options, from ice cream, waffles, homemade baked goods, and cheesecake to hearty sandwiches, pasta, pork tenderloin, and salmon.

Strandterrassen provides gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options on both its food and dessert menus.

You can also order catering or rent Strandterrassen for private events. Their specialty is buffets of various kinds and luxurious sandwich cakes, and they can prepare custom dinners upon request.

Charming hostel in Gränna harbour

The hostel has 18 twin rooms, 14 of which were renovated in 2014, and 4 quadruple rooms, providing a total of 52 beds.

Each room is equipped with bunk beds, a table, chairs, and wardrobes. Renovated bathrooms with showers and toilets are located in the hallway, separated for men and women. Both hostel buildings feature well-equipped kitchens, dining tables, and TVs.

Between the two buildings is an outdoor seating area, and the hostel is surrounded by large green spaces ideal for play and activities. Each hostel room includes access to a free parking space.

During high season, a breakfast buffet is served from 8:00 to 10:00 AM.
