Sand Golf Club

Discover Sand Golf Club a bit outside Bankeryd. The course is unique in its kind as it is an inland links course consisting of sand dunes and deep bunkers. It creates a landscape with peaks and valleys that challenge the player.

Highly ranked golf course

Sand Golf Club is always highly ranked on golf ranking lists and is also Småland's highest-ranked course.

The course

The course was built in 2005 by two enthusiastic entrepreneurs who wanted to create something new for the area, transforming a potato field into a top-modern golf course.

The course has 138 bunkers, several of which are deep, and also a spectacular volcano bunker that rises majestically over the landscape. Several large ponds and waste areas surround the course.

The course layout is unique for the country. Each hole has five clearly separated tees, allowing you to play the course in completely different ways with different strategies.

Accommodation and restaurant

If you want to stay on the premises, there are several options to choose from: hotel, cabin, or pitch – the choice is yours. Sand consists of four buildings with 30 fresh rooms totaling 64 beds, free Wi-Fi, and of course, the golf channel in the hotel rooms. The hotel has 13 superior rooms and a suite. All rooms have their own balcony with a view of the course.

There are also three cabins on the premises, one with 25 beds, one with 2 beds, and one with five beds.

At Sand Golf Club, there are also five pitches at hole 9.

Wherever you stay, you have access to the clubhouse, with a coffee machine, indoor golf training, gym, relaxation room with shower and sauna.

If you get hungry, there is a restaurant, Bistro Sand, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So come and enjoy a lovely meal during your golf tour.
