Sand Golf Club

Discover Sand Golf Club a bit outside Bankeryd. The course is unique in its kind as it is an inland links course consisting of sand dunes and deep bunkers. It creates a landscape with peaks and valleys that challenge the player.

Highly ranked golf course

Sand Golf Club is always highly ranked on golf ranking lists and is also Småland's highest-ranked course.

The course

The course was built in 2005 by two enthusiastic entrepreneurs who wanted to create something new for the area, transforming a potato field into a top-modern golf course.

The course has 138 bunkers, several of which are deep, and also a spectacular volcano bunker that rises majestically over the landscape. Several large ponds and waste areas surround the course.

The course layout is unique for the country. Each hole has five clearly separated tees, allowing you to play the course in completely different ways with different strategies.

Accommodation & Restaurant

If you would like to stay on site, there are several options available: hotel rooms, cottages, or motorhome pitches.

Sand Golf Club consists of four buildings with a total of 30 rooms and 65 beds. In the hotel building there are 13 superior rooms and one suite, all with private balconies overlooking the course.

There are also three cottages on the property:

• a larger farmhouse with 25 beds
• a cottage with 5 beds
• a cottage with three standard rooms, each with two beds

In addition, there are five motorhome pitches located by hole 9.

As a guest, you have access to the clubhouse with a coffee machine, indoor golf practice facilities, a gym, showers, a sauna, and a hot tub.

Bistro Sand
Located in the clubhouse, Bistro Sand serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here you can enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere.
