Save
Located in the heart of the Huskvarnabergens nature reserve, Brunstorps trädgårdscafé is a charming spot with a wide selection of refreshments and an incredible view of lake Vättern.
The café is housed in Brunstorps gård, surrounded by a garden / orchard featuring approximately 130 varieties of apples, 30 types of pears, and around 20 kinds of cherries. With the panoramic view of lake Vättern, you can enjoy a delightful selection of baked goods or light meals.
Choose to sit indoors in the historical building dating back to the 14th century, relax in the garden at one of the designated outdoor seating areas, or take a picnic basket and blanket to pick your favourite spot under a tree.
For those who wish to stay among the apple trees, a charming cottage is available for rent. This 14th-century cottage has been carefully renovated to offer modern amenities. It features six beds across one room and a kitchen. Booking is available via Booking.com.
Gazing out over Lake Vättern, the giant Vist stands tall in Huskvarna. Here, striking contrasts meet — between stunning natural surroundings and the historic Husqvarna Factory, established in 1689 to produce weapons for the Swedish military. At the Husqvarna Museum, you can explore everything from sewing machines and motorcycles to modern-day chainsaws and lawnmowers. Nearby, Smedbyn offers a charming mix of history, art galleries, and craft studios. Since 1925, Huskvarna Folkets Park has been a beloved venue for music, theatre, festivals, and fairs.
