Circular and handpicked design furniture

Amidst a hub of creative businesses in the historic industrial area of Norrahammar, just outside Jönköping, you'll find Ateljé Blivé – a true treasure trove for anyone who loves timeless design, sustainable interiors, and beautiful objects with a past. Each item here is carefully selected with a deep appreciation for both form and function.

It all started with an old house and a growing love for the preserved, the honest, and the already-made. Today, Ateljé Blivé has become a destination of its own – a second-hand boutique and design studio where every piece of furniture, clothing, or décor tells a story. Here you’ll find curated design classics, rare finds, and beautiful textiles, all deserving of a new life.

Sustainability at its core

The name "Blivé" comes from the Småland accent and means "to acquire" and that’s exactly what you can do here, in a circular and conscious way. What you purchase at Ateljé Blivé often costs less than new items but holds more long-term value, not just for your wallet, but for the planet.

The store is located at Terminal 31, a creative marketplace housed in repurposed industrial buildings in Norrahammar, where multiple businesses share a common commitment to sustainability.

The industrial heritage of Norrahammar

Ateljé Blivé is located in the historic industrial premises of Norrahammar, alongside a vibrant community of entrepreneurs and creatives. The site's industrial history dates back to the 19th century, when Wilhelm Spångberg established a factory for casting and machining. The ironworks expanded significantly, and an entire community - today's Norrahammar - grew around it.

In the early 1990s, the ironworks closed, and many buildings were demolished. However, some remained, and these have now become a hub for inspiration and creativity.

Over the past few years, Bruket has evolved into a vibrant destination for food, culture, and unique shopping experiences.

Tabergsådalen

Månsarp, Taberg, Norrahammar, and Hovslätt together form the Tabergsådalen, the valley through which the Taberg River flows. Here, you'll breathe in Swedish industrial history and encounter breathtaking nature, entrepreneurship, and creativity. At the top of Taberg, 343 meters above sea level, you can enjoy an incredible view while savoring the famous shrimp sandwich.
