A wave of magnetic energy with philosophical undertones

Land before time is an artist-driven duo consisting of Joanna Holewa Chrona and Yared Tilahun Cederlund. With roots in street dance, their collaboration has developed into a flowing and unique dance practice, deeply inspired by the rhythm and movement of water. The performance Waterkind explores the invisible, yet strong, connections between two bodies without physical contact. Through improvisation, the duo allows their dance to stand in a finely tuned dialogue with each other. Each movement is part of a flow that is reminiscent of the uninterrupted currents and rhythms of water. It becomes a dance that combines freestyle and popping in a powerful and distinctive language. Waterkind is an artistic inventory of the invisible ties that bind us together – both engaging and seductive in their expressiveness and presence.
