Accommondation in unique and historical charcoal huts. A perfect place for relaxation in the middle of the forest. South of Jönköping, there are two huts for four people in total and everything you need for a lovely night.
The cabins are equipped with wool blankets, sheets and a wood stove. Oil lamps and board games create an atmospheric and cozy evening when darkness falls.Upon arrival, a breakfast basket and a coffee basket are included, which can be enjoyed in the hunting tower on the nearby bog. Takeaway dinner can either be prepared over an open fire or in the fully equipped outdoor kitchen.
The coal huts are inspired from the cabins the coal miners lived in when they guarded the coal miles. A coal mile was used in the manufacture of charcoal and was guarded around the clock by charcoal burners. Even today, you can see remains of the old coal huts and coal miles around the site.
