Large parts of the old town hall have been carefully renovated and opened to the public with a Buttered Bread Restaurant and conference floor. The focus is on the Danish life philosophy of 'Hygge
Behind the concept are the dynamic duo Miléva Blomberg and Sofia Hagman, who also manage the Grand Hotel.
The building has been carefully renovated and restored to its original style. Plastic carpets have been replaced with stone and wooden floors. The fluorescent lights that once adorned much of the building bid farewell, making room for 17th-century chandeliers discovered in storage, meticulously restored, and now hanging in their place. Several parts of the building date back to the 17th century, such as the staircase and some stone floors.
On the ground floor, there's a restaurant open to everyone. The second floor houses a conference area, the third floor rents out offices, and the fourth floor is set to become a wine attic offering tea and wine tastings
