Discover the island Visingsö
The ferry between Gränna and Visingsö departs regularly all year round and takes about 25 minutes. During the summer, many people want to discover this historic and magical place and therefore it is closer between the tours. If you want to travel in a group or plan to take the car over with the ferry, we recommend that you book in advance. If you have pre-booked, it is important that you arrive at least five minutes before departure. Visingsö is very bicycle and hiking friendly, and it is also possible to get around with horse and carriage (remmalag), so feel free to leave the car in Gränna and experience the island in another exciting way.
The stretch between Gränna harbor and the harbor in Visingsö is 6200 meters long and is served by two different ferries; Braheborg and Ebba Brahe. On board the ferries, you can choose whether you want to sit inside, or enjoy the boat trip out on deck. In the ports on each side of Lake Vättern you will find restaurants and kiosks.
