Historic Visingsö invites young and old alike on a treasure hunt across the island. Search for clues and find the treasure. A fun and exciting adventure for everyone!
Since 2020, the treasure hunt on Visingsö has become a cherished tradition for visitors of all ages. The treasure map leads you on a discovery journey from Erstad in the north to Näs in the south. This activity is not only perfect for families but also an exciting addition to all the experiences the island offers.
There are two treasure hunt routes to choose from: one heading south and the other north on the island. At each of the five stops, you’ll find clues to help you unlock the treasure chest.
This route is approximately 11 km long and suitable for cycling or driving.
This route is around 11.5 km and can also be cycled or driven. The Visingsö train also stops at Bengtsgården.
You can reach the stops on the map by walking, cycling, or driving, though cycling is highly recommended. Bicycles are available for rent on Visingsö, and advance booking is advised. Learn more about bike rentals [here]. Choose your own starting point to begin your adventure.
The treasure hunt is accessible for everyone but recommended for ages 5–13.
