The experienced staff carefully match each rider with a suitable horse to ensure the best possible experience.

Ölandsberg primarily operates during the summer, but you are welcome to enquire about availability at other times of the year.

Horse riding holiday

A horse-riding holiday at Ölandsberg means staying in one of the cosy cottages or apartments while renting one or more horses or ponies for the duration of your visit.

The horses are gentle and well-trained, living outdoors in spacious pastures year-round. You can explore the breathtaking Östra Vätterbranterna landscape independently using a map or join a guided trail ride at no extra cost.

For those looking to improve their riding skills, lessons in Working Equitation (WE), dressage, or low-level jumping are available upon request.

Guided trail rides

If you prefer a guided riding experience through beautiful landscapes, Ölandsberg offers guided trail rides upon request.

  • Duration: approximately 2.5 hours, including horse care before and after the ride and basic instruction in terrain riding
