Anna Netrebko is Puccini's Tosca in the grand opera from the Metropolitan in New York at Jönköping Theatre on April 23.
In Sir David McVicar's bold staging of Puccini's opera thriller, the soprano star Anna Netrebko is the passionate title role, against Brian Jagde as her lover, painter Mario Cavaradossi. Michael Volle is the evil police chief Scarpia. The opera contains some of Puccini's most memorable melodies.
Language: The opera is in Italian with Swedish subtitle.
