The now classic musical Chess was written by Benny Andersson, Tim Rice and Björn Ulvaeus. The premiere took place in 1986 at the Prince Edward Theater in London, where it was then performed for three years.
The action takes place during a televised chess championship between the two chess players Freddie and Anatoly. On one side is Freddie, a provocative superstar who voluntarily chooses to revel in the public eye. On the other side is Anatoly, a pawn in the game of domination in a world where surveillance is a threatening tool in the struggle for power. Hans Svetlana is the woman who takes care of everything but who loses her husband when Anatoly falls in love with Freddie's girlfriend Florence. During some turbulent days, their lives are turned upside down and when the championship is over, none of the people are the same.

No later than 2018 in a glittering show with Schlager-Mello as the theme.
