Bo Kaspers Orkester
Four years have passed since the beloved Bo Kaspers Orkester released the album "Redo att gå sönder" ("Ready to Break"). In the fall, they are back with new music. Their 12th studio album "23.55" will be released on November 22 and in the spring of 2020 they will embark on a major tour when the band visits some 20 concert halls and arenas around the Nordic countries.
The band tells about the album: “Our best time is now. Knock on wood. Since the beginning of the 1990s, we have been traveling around as a business traveler in music. It feels like, to use hockey terms, we have played two periods and that it is now at the beginning of the last third period. Time to hit the gas pedal.
23:55 is our twelfth album and is a collection of songs that it has taken almost three decades to accomplish. A pure soul plate. We have been there before - the soul lies in our DNA - but it feels like we have only now matured game, voice and textual to make it full. The role models have been given. Now-soul with endless work in front of a computer, we warmly hand over to our younger colleagues. We wrote the songs, scratched them, tested them out and then recorded them for a few days in the studio.
The 23:55 disc should be listened to just a little later in the evening. Preferably at high volume. If the neighbors complain - health from us.”
Bo Kaspers's Orchestra has during its 28 years been a bestselling band and achieved numerous top list placements. They are one of Sweden's most beloved live bands, which was not least proved during 2017-2018 with their acclaimed stage performance "Allt ljus på oss" ("All light on us") and a grand arena tour in the fall of 2018.
"23:55 - Heart keeps pace" is a concert with newly written works from "23:55" interspersed with beloved classics from the band's solid repertoire.
