Gränna Strandbad offers a 300-metre sandy beach and breathtaking views of Lake Vättern, all within easy reach of the amenities you need for a perfect day at the beach.
This man-made lagoon (23,000 m²) is directly connected to Lake Vättern, with water circulation boosted by pumping. The lagoon allows you to choose between the warmer water inside the stone formation or a refreshing swim from the jetty on the outside.
Relax on the sun terrace or visit the lounge area at Vätterscenen. The large sandy area provides plenty of space for games and activities, and there is also a beach volleyball court on site.
With Gränna harbour, the marina, and the Visingsö ferry just around the corner, the area offers a wide selection of restaurants, cafés and ice cream. You will also find Gränna Adventure Mini Golf here – one of Sweden’s few handmade and creative adventure golf courses. This impressive 18-hole course offers both a high-quality experience and a real challenge.
A couple of days in Gränna holds everything you could wish for during your holiday. Stunningly clear water, breathtaking views, gentle walks in magical forests, history, cycling along beautiful country roads or challenging MTB tracks, relaxing to magical sunsets, strolls down cobblestone alleys, deliciously good ice cream and of course – the pepparmint rock candy.
Lifesaving equipment: All swimming areas have lifesaving equipment. The equipment must only be used in emergencies. Report faulty equipment via the e-service or to the Contact Centre, phone +46 (0)36-10 50 00.
