Attlas Skogsby offers stays in unique charcoal huts, a place for relaxation and togetherness in the heart of nature. Just 30 km south of Jönköping, this woodland village features two huts, each with space for two guests, and everything you need for a memorable outdoor night.

The huts are inspired by the shelters once used by charcoal burners as they watched over the charcoal stacks. A charcoal stack was used in the production of charcoal and was guarded around the clock. Even today, traces of the old huts and stacks can still be found around the site.

Cosy huts with wood-burning stove and soft lights

Each hut is equipped with woollen duvets and sheets, as well as a wood-burning stove for chilly nights. Oil lamps and board games create a warm and atmospheric evening as darkness falls. On arrival, a breakfast basket and a fika basket are included, which can be enjoyed in the nearby hunting tower overlooking the bog. Any dinner you bring along can be cooked either over an open fire or in the fully equipped outdoor kitchen.

With nature as your neighbour
