Minizoo in Tenhult

Just outside of Tenhult you will find a Minizoo, run by the gymnasium Naturbruksgymnasiet, a day trip for both childrens and adults. Here you will find rodents, reptiles, caged birds, rabbits, amphibians, fish, goats and poultry. The size of this zoo allows you to get close to the animals. During a large part of the opening hours there are animal keepers in place that can answer your or children's questions. It's good to walk around and watch the animals, or follow the animal keeper when they walk around and feed the animals. There are also opportunities to pat the animals. Stables and gardens are adapted to the animal species, in order for them to live as naturally as possible. The small zoo has the rodents and bird stable, farm animal stable, the tropics and the goat stable. Most walks between the stables and the parking consist of gravel, which makes it difficult to drive a stroller. However, the distances are not long.

Have a look and make the trip extra cozy with some picnic in the yard. There are both tables and benches in the yard where you can enjoy your own coffee / cafeteria.
