Take a minute to enjoy the sun by the dock at lake Munksjön or a stroll along the beautiful nature beside the lake. During the summer lots of activities are organized by the lake, one of them is “Badkarsracet” or the Bathtub race.
Wander through nice parks and colourful parts of the city while walking along lake Munksjön. Here you can easily walk or go by bike with a great view of the lake and the city centre. Take a stroll with your friend or practice for one of the summers upcoming events.
Every year Jönköping University hosts a bathtub race during the end of august in lake Munksjön. Cheer for your favourites or just watch the students floating through the canaly in colourful clothes. The event creates a lot of laughter and a lot of amusement.
