Hassafallsleden

Hassafallsleden is a circular loop trail of about 4 km in a magical and exciting nature area.

Hassafallsleden follows the river Tabergsån downstream through a lush forest. At the confluence with Sandserydsån, the trail follows this upstream of the impressive environment surrounding the Hassafall waterfalls. There are also two nice barbecue areas here. Through forest paths and roads leads the trail to Varkullen 228 meters above sea level. From here you have a breathtaking view of Södra Vätterbygden in all weather. To the north, Vättern glances with Visingsö and Omberg - in southern Taberg.

From Varkullen you can choose to continue west along Kallebäcksleden or turn down, back towards hembygdsgården. If you continue along Kallebäcksleden, you pass older industrial buildings at Åsafors, an older watercourse, and the remains of Månestorp mill. Hassafallsleden is somewhat demanding, but at the same time it offers a fascinating and exciting nature. It goes partly on narrow paths, some stairs, buckets and bridges. Kallebäcksleden missing really steep parties.

The two trails are excellent with blue markings. From Kallebäcksleden there is a connection to Södra Vätterleden, which you can follow towards Norrahammar and Taberg, or west towards Bottnaryd.
