Drop-in during summer

Curious to find out what it’s like to go wakeboarding? Head to the eastern part of Lake Munksjön and try this fun water sport!
The park is what’s called a cable park, which means you ride along a 185-metre course on the water.
During the summer season, the park is staffed and you can join free drop-in sessions on certain days of the week, see the municipality’s website for times. You can also book your own slot through the same website. It’s also possible to send a request if you’re a larger group who wants to try wakeboarding together.
One requirement for participating is that you must be able to swim.
To go wakeboarding, you’ll need a helmet, wetsuit and wakeboard, all of which are available to borrow on site. One ride takes about 1.5 minutes, taking you 185 metres along the course, back and forth. The wakeboard moves along the water, pulled by a cable attached to a tower, so there’s no need for a boat.
The Wakeboard Park was built in 2019 and is operated by the municipality.
