Experience delicacies from Hamnrökeriet in Gränna. Through a service window in the façade, you can choose from a wide selection of smoked fish and shellfish. Perfect to take away for lunch or dinner – or why not bring it along for a picnic on Visingsö?
You’ll find Hamnrökeriet in Gränna harbour, offering beautiful views over the harbour area where you can watch the Visingsö ferries as well as various fishing boats and sailing boats coming and going.
Hamnrökeriet offers genuine craftsmanship with smoked delicacies that are perfect to take away. Enjoy smoked local delicacies such as crayfish, salmon, Arctic char, trout, whitefish and perch from Lake Vättern. In addition to products from Lake Vättern, Hamnrökeriet offers a wide selection of other products to choose from, as well as complementary sauces. During the summer season, a lunch plate is served at Hamnrökeriet’s outdoor seating area.
In summer, Hamnrökeriet has a small outdoor seating area with picnic benches and parasols. Purchases are made through the service window on the outside of the building, where you can choose to take the delicacies home or enjoy them on site in a beautiful spot around Gränna or on Visingsö.
Opening hours vary, so please get in touch in advance to make sure they are open.
Hamnrökeriet is part of Mat runt Gränna (Food Around Gränna). An initiative created by local producers and entrepreneurs who want to support a vibrant countryside and locally produced ingredients.
The shops, farm cafés, and restaurants are open year-round and are happy to show you how they make their delicacies.
During the Ascension Day weekend each year, all businesses invite you to the food tour, where the participants have the same opening hours and offer tastings and fun activities for both young and old.

A couple of days in Gränna holds everything you could wish for during your holiday. By car
Hamnrökeriet is located by the harbour in Gränna, so when you arrive in town, look for signs pointing towards the harbour. Follow the signs and drive towards the harbour area. Park in Gränna or turn immediately right towards Gränna Rökeri in Gränna harbour, drive up a short hill and you’ll arrive.
Public transport
Bus routes 121 and 122 operate from Jönköping Travel Centre and stop at the final stop, Gränna Harbour, approximately 100 metres from Hamnrökeriet in Gränna.
