Hotel with a long history

The history of Gränna Strandhotell dates back to the 1600s, when there was an inn located on the same site where Gränna Strandhotell stands today.

Over two hundred years of history by Lake Ören

Just over two hundred years later, in the mid-19th century, the water level of Lake Ören was lowered. As a result, the area that is now Brunnsparken was drained, revealing two natural springs with health-giving water.

This marked the beginning of the site’s history as a spa and bath hotel. More than 200 years on, guests are still welcomed to this idyllic setting on the northern shore of Lake Ören. You can still drink the mineral-rich spring water in Brunnsparken today.

The hotel is located in the charming village of Örserum – peaceful and tranquil, yet easy to reach, just a 10-minute drive from Gränna and the E4 motorway.

Gather family and friends

Guests are welcomed here all year round, whether visiting privately or for conferences. The kitchen serves well-prepared dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, and craft beer is brewed on site in the cellar.

Gränna Strandhotell is a popular choice for weddings and family gatherings, and an ideal destination for those who enjoy nature and culture.

With numerous walking and cycling trails nearby, there is plenty to explore in every season.

The hotel also has its own sandy beach and jetty, where boat guests can moor during the summer. A beach café is open in fine weather throughout the summer season.

Motorhome pitches by the lake

The motorhome pitches are peacefully located in the village of Örserum, just outside Gränna, within the hotel’s historic park. Here, you’ll enjoy views of the lake, with a sandy beach and swimming jetty only a few metres away.

Welcome to Gränna Strandhotell. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity.
