Literature at Mjölkafållan
Save
At Mjölkafållan in Huskvarna, you step straight into the world of literature. This book staircase showcases 18 different book titles and authors from Småland.
The purpose of the book staircase is to highlight local authors and provide reading recommendations for all ages. As you walk up the steps you will see Mjölkafållan’s playground, which features a small book cabinet where you can sit down in lounge chairs and read in a calm and beautiful setting. During spring you are also greeted by an abundance of beautiful cherry blossom trees, which are well worth a visit on their own.
Gazing out over Lake Vättern, the giant Vist stands tall in Huskvarna. Here, striking contrasts meet — between stunning natural surroundings and the historic Husqvarna Factory, established in 1689 to produce weapons for the Swedish military. At the Husqvarna Museum, you can explore everything from sewing machines and motorcycles to modern-day chainsaws and lawnmowers. Nearby, Smedbyn offers a charming mix of history, art galleries, and craft studios. Since 1925, Huskvarna Folkets Park has been a beloved venue for music, theatre, festivals, and fairs.
